WHAT TO EXPECT AT A GRAPE GALLIVANTER TASTING EVENT
We bring the wines, glasses and optional canapes to your chosen venue in Bath or Bristol. We start with a brief review of wine tasting skills before sampling 5 to 7 wines. These will be 50- 75 ml tasting pours to tease your palete and to ease you into a merry mood. Together we explore each wines personality in a fun informal setting. Silly comments, questions and giggles are welcome. We setup, we serve, we entertain and we clean up. You dont lift a finger; you only need to lift your glass.

Alexandria is originally from California, but spends more time gallivanting for wines across Europe with her loyal labrador Sheldon. She is WSET level 3 certified and has also completed the Northern Italian Wine Scholar programme. Former London Banker, food guide and Personal Trainer. She spends her spare time rock climbing, snowboarding, wakeboarding, wine drinking and seeking out unique grape varieties.

For nearly a decade Sheldon has accompanied Alexandria to wine producers in Burgundy, Sancerre, Bordeaux, Champagne, The Rhone, Rioja, The Douro Valley, Italy and Slovina. He helps me rate wines based on whether his mummy can taste terrior and complexity. Secondly he loves authentic small producers, organic and low intervention wine

He plays more of a support role and does not attending the tastings anymore. Sadly he has a history of steeling the food pairings.
